Wholesale Policies, Terms & Conditions
RETURN POLICY: ViaCheff will accept returns within 5 days of order delivery. There is a 15% restocking charge for all returned orders.
MOQ (minimum order quantity):
In order to get wholesale prices on stoked items, each order you place must have a total value of at least $300 before shipping fees are added. Special Orders must add to total of $500 before shipping fees are added.
Each product type has a minimum quantity that must be purchased. When you add 1 unit to your cart, please note that you are adding a master unit with the below quantities of individual resale units per master unit :
- Hobbycor: 50 units
- 3-part molds: 1 case (quantity varies per mold. See product descriptions.)
- Simple molds : pack of 10
- Large molds: pack of 10
- Textured sheets: pack of 15
- Acetate strips: 15 rolls
- Cake decorating combs: 10 units
Due to shipping and raw material delays caused by COVID, some products may have a temporary maximum quantity limit that you can purchase until our supply can be normalized. Products with maximum quantity limits will be identified on our website.
Please note that our products are offered at wholesale cost to retailers with a valid sales permit ID for the purpose of resale only. Generally, our wholesale products are priced 50% below our SRP (suggested retail price). Due to the immense savings, we have certain criteria that must be met in order to open a wholesale account:
- You must complete a wholesale account application, providing your EIN, and Sales & Use Tax ID. Your application is subject to approval prior to purchasing at wholesale pricing.
- Accounts and Resale: Accounts will be reviewed annually. We reserve the right to cancel an account for any reason including, but not limited to if the account changes ownership. Duplication or adulteration of products or packaging or falsely representing products as your own is strictly prohibited. Products purchased from ViaCheff can only be sold at or on the physical and/or virtual location(s) provided to ViaCheff at the time of account registration and products must be sold under and by the company whose TAX ID number is on file. We reserve the right to limit or discontinue the selling of our products to parties with sales and distribution strategies not compatible to those of ViaCheff.
In-stock items ship within 5 business days of payment.
Special-orders items can take 4-6 weeks to ship. In many cases orders will be fulfilled faster, but we account for possible delays.
Shipping & Handling:
The shipping charges quoted in your order are based on the total weight and dimensions of the products chosen. For special orders, we will quote LTL or FTL trucking for you and costs will be added to your final invoice. You may book your own shipping so long as a BOL is provided at least 24 hours before the confirmed loading date.
Orders must be paid for in full in U.S. currency prior to shipment. At this time, we do not offer payment terms (Net 30, 60, 90, etc.). We accept all major credit cards and PayPal.
Returns & Restocking Fees:
All orders come with a 5-day money back guarantee. Items must be in resalable condition. Simply return the merchandise with the original invoice and a note stating your reason for return and we’ll gladly refund your purchase price. Shipping & handling charges are not refundable, and a 15% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund. Open and/or used items will not be accepted.
Defective, damaged, lost or missing items:
These items will be replaced by ViaCheff once we have confirmed the defect, damage, or loss of all or part of a shipment. Please inspect products upon arrival and notify us immediately of defective products by emailing email@example.com with proper photographic or tracking documentation. For lost packages, please ensure you have first worked with the transport company to track your package and receive confirmation that the package has been lost. While we work to ensure accuracy on every order, if your order arrives with missing items, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number, which items were missing, and how many.
Canceling/Changing Your Order:
Due to our size and efficient fulfillment, we move pretty quickly, so we cannot guarantee that your order can be cancelled or altered after it has been placed. You may contact us as soon as possible to see if your order has already started to be processed. In the event that it has not, we will be more than happy to make changes to it within 24 hours.
Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) :
The MAP policy applies to all products purchased from ViaCheff’s wholesale channel. Our minimum advertised pricing requirement is 85% of the Suggested Retail Price (SRP), which is a 15% discount off of our SRP. Our SRP will always be the price displayed for the same item on ViaCheff.com or you may ask us at any moment to confirm our SRPs. Resellers may offer products on promotion at a lower advertised discount only with written permission from ViaCheff. The MAP policy may be adjusted by ViaCheff at its sole discretion. To protect our resellers from unfair competition and to maintain the brand’s image, ViaCheff will regularly review all reseller commerce sites and conduct in-depth web searches to ensure consistent adherence to this policy. In cases of violation of this MAP policy, resellers will be allowed 24 hours to bring all advertising into compliance. Warnings and written notices may not be provided. Failure to comply immediately will result in discontinued shipments and possible account termination. ViaCheff reserves the right to cancel or limit the sale of its products to parties whose sales and distribution strategies are incompatible with those of ViaCheff.
ViaCheff may update these policies at any moment and without notice. By placing a wholesale order, you are stating that you understand and adhere to all policies set forth by ViaCheff.
